Made me think about Tarot and bringing out my Ghost Tarot or perhaps Tarot of the Haunted House … Just to see what messages are available to me … will there be rain … lightning … Oh my! What is to be?’
It kind of sounded like a stomach growl … So maybe The Cook’s Tarot … or was it bringing to mind other images … to gather my other Tarot decks … or time to look at new ones …?
The many sounds of nature can be mood altering … it brings out memories … feelings of nostalgia … people and places …
I got thinking of the crackling of a fire in the fireplace … or a campfire … bringing up images of the Bonefire Tarot …
Perhaps the sounds of the waves from the sea crashing against rocks on the shore … or the sound of an approaching train coming up the tracks … Nature … Sounds in our envirment … Some we sometimes don’t even notice … birds chirping … sound of the wind in the trees … mostly gentle sounds … tranquil and relaxing …
I wonder what Tarot Deck would fit the bill … Tarot de la Nuit … or is there something new … Or a Tarot Deck I already have …
I started thinking about the opening of the booklet in Tarot of Haunted House by Sasha Graham.
It’s very much a journey in discovering or uncovering the various secrets of the haunted house … it is a journey regarding the archtypes as well as Raven Wandsworth … and our personal journey in discovering that we hold the key to our lives … “one card at a time” …
This seems to be how Tarot works … if giving a reading for yourself or for others … the cards pretty much spell out what is happening in our lives … what has happened … and to a degree what will happen, especially if you’re planning or building your future. It is the plans we put into place today that shapes what is to be in the future …

The image to the left is of The Fool. I very much admire her for her free spirit and general attitude of moving forward without a care in the world. I think she has a very strong faith that nothing bad is going to happen to her. She doesn’t sit back and worry or fret about possibilities, but does as she pleases without worry or concern.
She may be viewed as naive … but I sometimes wonder …
For The Past Several Days I’ve Been Having Difficulty Writing This Post … May Have Been The Internet, My Hosting Or Just The Weather … And Perhaps My Resident Ghost And Her Friends …
I know I’ve reviewed this Tarot deck before, but for some reason it came to mind and I thought it was worth another look.
I would have preferred a larger print guidebook, but it is workable … I love the images and how this does go along with a haunted mansion and all the residents who have passed … but are still here …
I very much like the idea that it is a story … with these wonderful characters … each playing a significant role in each of your readings. Most importantly, you uncover something new in every reading … I’m finding it quite exciting and delightful … It has been a great help to me in learning to read the Tarot by checking my study notes and also the booklet … and just gazing at the images to see what story there is to tell …
This post has been a bit jumbled during to all the false starts I had over the past several days … I hope it was informative and helpful to you in whatever level you’re at in your Tarot studies.
