I’ve been taking my time learning the basic meanings of the various cards and suits in order to get a general idea of Tarot reading.

Then I come upon a Tarot Deck that changes the suits … but it is quite a lovely set.

Spiritsong Tarot has a season of spring vibe to me and the soft pastel colors make it quite a lovely set by Paulina Cassidy.

“This Spiritsong deck is a melding of two traditions of divination: one in which animals are seen as guides between our world and the spirit world, and one that uses 78 cards as a tool to connect with our highest self. Each animal was specifically selected based upon Shamanic and Native American symbolism, merging each animal s unique power with classic tarot practices. For example, the Spiritsong animal, Raven, has attributes such as creation that parallels some of the same symbolic tarot attributes of the traditional Magician card, which is why the Raven is the animal representing that card.”

The four suits in the Spiritsong Deck:

  1. Acorns for Wands/Fire
  2. Feathers for Swords/Air
  3. Shells for Cups/Water
  4. Crystals for Pentacles/Earth

The Spiritsong Tarot Set includes 78 cards and a 108-page guidebook.

I’m into the Shamanic and Native American feeling of this Tarot deck and feel a great connection to nature. It is a deck I highly recommend.

Paulina Cassidy’s Spiritsong Tarot has a lovely assortment of animals.

I am quite impressed by this deck. I can see myself using it throughout the year, not just in the spring.

I believe it is always positive to be grounded in nature when doing personal readings or those for others. I usually will take a walk to clear my mind and pretty much get out of my way for my readings. I’m constantly reminding myself, it isn’t what I want the cards to say, but what message the cards have to say to me. It is usually something I need to hear and ponder … This is an excellent deck for that!

I hope you found this post informative.

I love looking at Tarot Decks and deciding which ones would be best for me … You may go through the same process.

There are Tarot Decks that seem to stand out and others that need a bit of hunting to find … I don’t know if that means a deck may not be for you or not … I just know I sometimes find cards that keep showing up, but I’m not drawn to them. Maybe it is more of what I need than what I want … I just know there is definitely mystical about Tarot.

Thank you so very much for stopping by!
