Back then people were into Ouija Boards, too … but that is another story …
Today Mattel has a Retro Edition that brings us back to our childhood and can be placed on a desk or book shelf to shine in its glory and be a conversation piece for all of your old friends.
Mine’s in a box someplace in the garage — I should dig it out and ask a question or two just for old times sake. Yes, this is definitely not the original Magical 8 Ball of my youth, but a new exciting one by Our Friendly Forest for a new generation of inquisitive minds.
I would imagine it would be the hit of any party … it could raise the hair on the back of the neck and also goosebumps … Now that would be a fun party!! Definitely a helpful ice breaker at a party of young people and a party of adults who don’t know each other very well.
I believe it would be welcome for any kind of party throughout the year.
And, of course, there are some very popular Tarot Cards that will be a great hit with your party guests when a simple yes/no question just isn’t enough …
I do prefer the longer answer to questions, but I’m more into detail and I suppose I’ve outgrown the novelty toys and want to get serious about my future and the future of friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, strangers …
I wonder about wearing a Witch’s costume or perhaps a Gypsy … That would definitely be fun and worthwhile …
