Anime Tarot By Natasha Yglesias Published By S & S/Simon Elements . . .

This Tarot deck was released July 12, 2022 — so it is fairly new — Hot Off The Presses!!

I’m not an anime fan, but I do enjoy their artwork . . . I don’t know much about the anime characters, archetypes, symbolism or magic. I do know that it would work quite well in a Tarot deck . . . Giving it a more modern interpretation and feel for another generation.

We all have our own style of Tarot cards we like — for different seasons and to fit our particular mood . . . or that of the person we’re doing a reading.

Let’s Take A Closer Look With A Video Walk-Through

I’m Very Much Into Following The Rider-Waite-Smith Tradition

The Major Arcana and Court Cards were fine . . . but the numbered cards ace through ten resemble pip cards . . . Unfortunately, I’m not a fan . . .

Maybe this doesn’t bother you and you find it quite refreshing not to have anime illustrations on each and every card in the deck . . . Then this is perhaps the appropriate deck for you . . .

But for me . . . I’ll pass . . .

I started out being quite excited about it . . . That’s what is great about being able to view a Tarot deck before purchasing . . .

I don’t know about you, but I do enjoy knowing what I’m getting . . . In all Tarot decks I may not love all the cards, but it works out . . . In this case there are sections in each suit that don’t appeal to me . . . basically 40 of the 78 cards . . . That’s something I can’t overlook . . .

As always, you make up your mind as to whether Anime Tarot by Natasha Yglesias is right for you.

Thanks for stopping by!
