It may be the images, colors … How the deck made me feel … Or it just seemed interesting and a bit different from my personal style — whatever that may be …
We are drawn to certain Tarot Decks … Perhaps it had to do with the way we were feeling on that particular day …
I’ve watched numerous Top 5 Deck YouTube Videos and wasn’t aware of most of these Tarot Decks. I found many were out of print or they needed to be purchased from private sellers and not on Amazon.com
I prefer Tarot Decks that are available to all … Easily available …
Tarot Decks with different themes … Witches … Mermaids … Cats … Fairies … Angels … etc.
I go with the Tarot Decks that follow the Rider-Waite-Smith system … I also prefer to use the suits of Swards, Cups Wands and Pentacles … I do have a couple of decks that go with the elements or have changed some of the Higher Arcana card names … As long as I can figure it out I’m okay … but while I’m learning I don’t want to go too far afield.

This is quite a lovely deck with 2 additional Higher Arcana Cards — The Well and The Artist for a total of 80 cards.
It does follow the Rider-Waite-Smith system. I do love the artwork. The Art Nouveau style does appeal to me as does the foil stamping. I do love antiques and the old style of fashion … There does seem something elegant about this Tarot Deck.
I usually don’t like added cards … but I have bought decks with them … I’ll need to work with this deck to see how well this deck works with me … It would be interesting to do a deck interview …

I’m not bothered around boarders and the sides of the Tarot Decks … Guilding would be lovely … but it is what it is … I do like having more information from a Guide Book … but once I learn to read the Tarot and build my personal confidence then I may focus more upon the decks …
It is amazing what catches our attention when we look through Tarot Decks … Much like with book covers … we are drawn to them … Perhaps even by the title … or even the theme …
I often wonder if we choose our Tarot Decks or they choose us …
